Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah, Advisor to the Saudi Royal Court and Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, sent a 50-truck aid convoy to Damascus yesterday.

The convoy is part of a temporary humanitarian aid system that has been established to help the Syrian people. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the aid trucks included dialysis machines and other medical supplies, food and shelter supplies, heavy machinery, debris removal equipment and ambulances, with a total weight of 673 tons.

The convoy is a continuation of the aid land bridge launched by Saudi Arabia in 2025, under which 800 trucks have reached Syria so far. In addition, 18 aircraft were flown through the Saudi Air Bridge, bringing the total aid delivered to Syria through these two aid links to 13,561 tons of food, medical and shelter supplies.

This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the Syrian people and provide them with the necessities of a better life.
