Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Iranian President Masoud Pezishkian spoke on the phone about the tense situation in the Middle East and the need for peace. The leaders agreed to work together to reduce conflicts and strengthen diplomatic relations.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman said Israel is trying to escalate tensions with Iran to drag the U.S. into a Middle East war. He urged Iran to act wisely and avoid damaging Islamic unity. He also stated that the Muslim world stands with Iran and that Saudi Arabia will keep promoting regional stability.
President Pezishkian said Iran is committed to peace but accused Israel of worsening tensions whenever progress is made. He added that Saudi Arabia and Iran can bring peace to the region through cooperation.
Both leaders agreed to enhance ties and collaborate for regional security.
