SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Section 144 has been imposed in Birmal tehsil of South Waziristan Lower for one day due to security concerns and the movement of forces in the area.

According to a notification issued by the Home Department, the restrictions will remain in place on Monday from 6 am to 7 pm. During this period, all forms of movement will be banned.

Markets, including Raghzai Bazaar, will remain closed, while travel has been prohibited on the Angoor Adda, Zam China, Khamrang, Raghzai, and Sholam–Wana routes.

Travel will only be permitted in emergency cases, and that too with prior approval from security forces. The Home Department has further directed citizens to stop their vehicles at least 100 metres away upon sighting security force convoys.
