Security forces clear five more villages in Bajaur

Evacuation begins from Mamond, Bajaur, camps set up for displaced residents

BAJAUR: Security forces have cleared five more villages during the ongoing security operation in the tehsil of Mamond of Bajaur district, and people have been allowed to go back to their homes.

The Bajaur administration issued a statement on Sunday announcing that residents from five villages in Tehsil Mamond are now allowed to return home. The villages, Sierai Malan, Serai Mian Gan, Landai Kalan, Bilal Masjid Tarkhu, and Shamshergar Qila Tarkhu, have been declared safe and cleared for return.

The District Administration emphasised that the situation in these areas has returned to normal, and the full functioning of state services has resumed. Residents can return to their homes with their belongings and live peacefully.
