Senator Afnanullah: “State writ non-negotiable” as PTI plans Islamabad March

ISLAMABAD: PML-N Senator Afnanullah Khan warned that no political groups (“jathas”) will be allowed to protest in Islamabad, emphasizing that the state’s authority will be enforced “at all costs.”

Speaking on Dunya News, Khan accused PTI of corruption and instigating political chaos, referencing their past sit-in where Parliament was attacked. He stated PTI must “create an environment for negotiations” before any talks can occur, adding: “Applause isn’t given with one hand but both.”

The senator also claimed Imran Khan’s son holds British citizenship, declaring, “We cannot allow any foreign national to spread chaos in Pakistan.” He dismissed PTI’s goal of reinstating Imran Khan as Prime Minister, calling it “impossible,” and predicted PTI’s current movement would “pass quietly” like previous attempts.
