LAHORE: Veteran Pakistani actor Anwar Ali breathed his last in Lahore at the age of 71 after a prolonged illness.
According to details, the renowned actor had been suffering from lung and kidney-related ailments and had been under treatment for several days. However, his condition worsened last night, and he was admitted to a hospital on Raiwind Road, where he breathed his last.
Anwar Ali was renowned for his exceptional performances on stage, television, and film, and he was regarded as one of the finest comedians and performers in the history of Pakistani cinema and theatre. His distinctive style and unmatched sense of humor won the hearts of millions across the country.
