PESHAWAR: Aziz Bolani, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Serena Hotel, met with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House in Peshawar on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the two discussed several areas of mutual interest. Key topics included empowering women, involving youth in national development, and promoting cultural activities. Governor Kundi specifically commended Serena Hotel’s contributions to social development and harmony.
Governor Kundi emphasized the critical role of including women and youth in the national mainstream for achieving sustainable development. He stated that cultural activities are vital for fostering social harmony and national unity, praising the efforts of both private and public institutions in this regard.
The discussion also covered plans for organizing events at the Governor House. Governor Kundi stressed the importance of highlighting Pakistan’s cultural diversity beyond differences of religion, color, and race. He described the country’s cultural diversity, interfaith harmony, and sustainable peace as its “real strength,” adding that every possible forum should be used to promote these values.
Aziz Bolani briefed the Governor on Serena Hotel’s ongoing social and cultural projects. He assured the Governor of the hotel’s cooperation in organizing joint events and programs in the future. Bolani also toured different sections of the Governor House.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Governor Kundi presented Aziz Bolani with a special gift.
