MARDAN: Seven members of a family fainted after eating ‘toxic’ food and were taken to the hospital in Mardan here on Monday.
According to the family members of the affected persons, after eating lunch at home, all seven members of their family fell unconscious and have been shifted to Mardan Medical Complex for treatment.
They said three men, three women and a child were among the victims.
According to their relatives, three of the affected people are said to be unconscious and undergoing treatment at MMC.
The affected people include Abdul Shahid, Abdul Qadeer, Qaiser Ali, Samreen, Zainab, Sadaqat and Ranra.
