KURRAM: Seven people were killed and three others injured when a pick-up truck plunged into a deep ravine in the Gondal area of the district of Kurram on Friday.
Local police and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured persons to the Hospital. District Kurram: 7 people died and 3 were injured in a tragic accident. Police said that the vehicle was going from Central Kurram to Lower Kurram when it faced the tragic incident in the Gondal area. The injured are being treated in the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Sadda.
The dead bodies of the victims were dispatched to their respective villages. The local people and politicians expressed deep concern over the incident and expressed full sympathy with the bereaved families.
Kurram district is one of the underdeveloped southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which recently merged with the province. The area lacks road infrastructure, which frequently causes traffic incidents resulting in loss of valuable human losses.
