Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Department on Tuesday issued a notification announcing the transfer and posting of seven senior police officers across the province.
According to the notification, Syed Muhammad Bilal has been transferred from the position of Deputy Commandant Elite and appointed as the District Police Officer (DPO) of Upper Dir. Meanwhile, the authority to appoint PSP officers Tariq Habib and Tariq Iqbal has been assigned to the Inspector General of the Counter-Terrorism Department (IG CTD).
PSP Nazer Khan has been appointed as Deputy Commandant of the Elite Force.

In a related move, Acting DPO Upper Dir Zafar Ahmed has been posted as Acting Deputy Commandant of the Special Security Unit (SSU) for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), while DSP Investigation Saadat Khan has been assigned to the office of the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Kohat.
Further changes include the appointment of SDPO Gulbahar Sajjad Hussain as Acting SP Warsak. Acting SP Rural, Inam Jan, has been assigned the role of Acting SP Saddar Mardan.
Additionally, DSP Investigation Ijaz Ali has been posted to RPO Kohat, while Acting SP Kohat Farooq Zaman has been appointed as Acting SP Investigation Buner.
Muhammad Shafi, previously serving as Acting SP Investigation Buner, has now been assigned to the office of the IG Elite Force.
