PESHAWAR: Seven terrorists were killed in two separate operations in Dera Ismail Khan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here on Sunday.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations, on the reported presence of miscreants, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in the general area Daraban.
ISPR stated during the conduct of the operation, its troops effectively engaged the terrorist location, and resultantly, four terrorists were killed.
In another encounter that took place in the general area Maddi, Army troops effectively neutralized three terrorists.
ISPR statement mentioned weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the miscreants’ possession, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
According to the military media wing, sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
