BAJAUR: Former Pakistan cricket team captain and renowned all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi visited Bajaur and inspected the victims’ camp set up at the Government Commerce College and met the affected families.
During the visit, Shahid Afridi announced an assistance of Rs 02 million for the victims. He also promised to establish a vocational centre for the girls and women of Bajaur.
Shahid Afridi also distributed bags, books and sports equipment to the affected boys and girls so that they could continue their educational and healthy activities. On this occasion, he also inaugurated the BS Computer Department at Government Commerce College Bajaur.
The local people and the victims thanked Shahid Afridi for his arrival and cooperation and said that his initiative has boosted the morale of the victims.
