BAJAUR: A station house officer (SHO) and other police personnel survived an improvised explosive device (IED) blast, which struck the police van in Khar area of Bajaur here on Thursday.
According to police sources, the SHO Khar vehicle came under attack when it was heading somewhere in the area. However, including SHO, all police officers onboard remained unhurt in the incident.
While confirming the blast, district police officer Bajaur, Waqas Rafique said no human loss was reported in the incident; however, an investigation has been launched to probe the blast, and efforts are underway to apprehend the culprits behind the blast.
