KARAK: At least three police personnel including a Station House Officer (SHO) Umar Nawaz were killed in a firing attack by unknown gunmen in Banda tehsil area of Karack district.
According to details, the armed attack took place in the Ahmadi Banda of area Banda tehsil area, where police team were patrolling in their vehicle. Suddenly, armed men on motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire on the police vehicle.
As a result, three police personnel including SHO Umar Nawaz and two of his constables were martyred. The armed men managed to flee the scene after commenting the crimes.

Soon after the incident, DPO Shehbaz Elahi arrived at the site with a strong contingent of police forces and cordoned off the area. A search operation has been launched to apprehend the culprits.
