A high-level South African defense delegation, led by Acting Secretary of Defense Dr. Thobekile Gamede, met with Pakistan Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu on Thursday to discuss enhanced military cooperation.
Sidhu reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to collaborating with the South African Air Force in training and military partnerships. Gamede praised the Pakistan Air Force’s advancements in technology and indigenization, expressing interest in modernization support and joint training initiatives.
The delegation also discussed plans to re-equip South Africa’s Air Force and establish an industrial setup inspired by Pakistan’s National Aerospace Science and Technology Park.
