SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: (Noor Ali Wazir) Various political and social leaders of South Waziristan have strongly criticised the performance of the provincial government, especially Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur, calling him an unserious and Impractical Chief Minister.
Talking to Pakhtun Digital Pakistan Muslim League (N) district leader Zia-ul-Haq Wazir says that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has adopted an anti-people policy and as compared to the Punjab government, no developmental projects have been launched in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while merit is also being openly violated.
He said that due to the Chief Minister’s lack of seriousness, there is severe disappointment among the people, and the PTI government of the last 12 years has grossly neglected public welfare. The performance of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz better than that of the KP Chief Minister because the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government does not implement their promises as per their manifesto.
Amanullah Wazir, District President of Pakistan People’s Party South Waziristan Lower, also criticized the KP government and said that the Chief Minister is only deceiving the people by showing off. He said that the Chief Minister has neither political awareness nor a development vision. He gave the example of the dilapidated condition of the Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan and Dera-Wana roads and said that the travel difficulties of the people are not satisfactory. Amanullah further said that unfortunately, the trust of the people has been lost, deprivations have increased and they have been pushed towards backwardness, which is very sad saying he has completely failed to meet the expectations of the people.
Member of the Youth Assembly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and social leader Meraj Wazir says that the law and order situation in the province is deteriorating day by day. The Chief Minister is limited to mere statements and is unaware of the ground realities. He said that the bureaucracy of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is in ruins, and instead of paying attention to the basic problems of the people, only protest politics is being done.
Political leaders emphasised that there is a crisis in PTI’s political leadership in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the current government has completely failed to solve the problems of the people. It is a matter of regret that the three-term PTI governments did not bring any positive change, but only played politics of personal interests. They said that the people were still waiting for practical steps, not a paper change.
