KARACHI: In a touching gesture, the Pakistan Army made a young boy’s dream come true by appointing him as an honorary army captain for the day. Usman Aqeel, who suffers from a rare medical condition called calciphylaxis, was given this special opportunity by the Corps Commander Karachi.
During the ceremony, Usman’s mother proudly placed captain’s ranks on his shoulders. He was allowed to handle army weapons and received a briefing on military operations. “Today my dream of joining the Pakistan Army came true,” said an emotional Usman. He praised the army’s bravery, stating: “The way our forces defeated India was unmatched. Every Pakistani child stands with our soldiers.”
The event highlighted the army’s efforts to bring joy to children facing challenges. Earlier, the military had dedicated its Al-Fateh missile launch to honor children martyred in Indian attack
