Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the malice of the government alliance on the Madrasa Bill has been exposed, and the President’s signing of the Madrasa Ordinance is also a link in this chain.
While talking to the media in Charsadda, he said that the Madrasa Ordinance is being extended, but legislation is not being made; the government’s intentions regarding the Madrasa Amendment Bill are not right. The decision regarding the Madrasa Amendment Bill will be taken by the Wafaq-ul-Madaris and Tanzeem-ul-Madaris.
Maulana said that the state is responsible for law and order and the lives and property of citizens, and it is the responsibility of law enforcement agencies to protect the lives and property of citizens.
The JUI chief said that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the opposition parties are going to the courts for a specific seat. The PML-N has filed a case against the JUI in the court on a specific seat. In the current situation, who will benefit from this move of the PML-N? What should I do with an opposition whose every step is in the interest of the provincial government? How will we deal with the current opposition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in these circumstances? We are doing moderate politics and respect each other, the opposition parties are also going to the courts against us, in such a situation, it is wrong to think of distrust in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that I am not ending the differences with PTI, but improving relations is one of my goals. I want to remove bitterness by keeping the differences with PTI as differences; I do not want to respond to the bitterness and bad morals of PTI.
He said that it is the responsibility of the state to improve relations with Afghanistan. We first take action against Afghanistan, and then start talks. Action against Afghanistan creates bitterness, and the atmosphere for talks ends.
He further said that we have already said yes to the Charter of Democracy once, JUI is still committed to the Charter of Democracy, and if politicians follow the Charter of Democracy, a better environment can be created.
In response to a question, the JUI leader said that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur should be asked about his response to the talks with the establishment. Why should I answer an unreasonable question? I did not speak of no-confidence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against the PTI. I have suggested that there is a need for change in the province. I have talked about bringing about change within the PTI. Instead of opposition bargaining and breaking members, I have talked about a new administration within the PTI. He said that the current situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa does not tolerate political conflict. Even today, I say that the majority of this province is fake. The PTI government is in place, and the court has also accepted it. The whole world is accepting the PTI government. We cannot do anything about it. History will decide whether our claim regarding mandate theft is wrong or right.
