ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a weather alert predicting strong winds, storms, and rain across most parts of the country for the next three days. The advisory warns that Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may be particularly affected.
Citizens and tourists have been advised to take precautionary measures. Weak structures, mud walls, and unsafe buildings could be damaged due to strong winds. People are urged to stay away from electricity poles, billboards, and unstable constructions.
The NDMA also advised vehicle owners to park in safe, covered areas to avoid damage. Travelers have been cautioned to drive carefully as poor visibility during storms may lead to road accidents. Authorities are monitoring the situation and have urged the public to stay updated on weather forecasts.
