Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that the students are the future destiny of this country and they must work hard with unity to play their role in national development and prosperity of the country.
DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held a special session with the students, in which there was a fruitful discussion regarding Pakistan and especially Balochistan.
Detailed answers were also given to the questions of the students of Balochistan in the session. Regarding the anti-terrorism operation in Balochistan, the DG ISPR said that the aim of the army is not to harm innocent people but to target terrorists and their facilitators through intelligence-based operations.
He clarified that the problem is not resolved by vacating an area and sending them back for repatriation, but success is possible only with the participation of the people.
Pak army does not want to dislocate the public but will focus on the targeted and intelligence-based operation in the areas and suspected areas, which direly need masses support and cooperation.
The DG ISPR appreciated the sacrifices and vision of the people of Balochistan and said that the youth, children and women are now becoming the masters of their region and destiny.
Mentioning that the foundation of the country is based on the word and unity, he said that the population of Balochistan includes diverse linguistic groups, but the aim of all is to serve Pakistan.
The session also highlighted the sacrifices of the soldiers, the services of Major Muhammad Anwar Kakar, and the ongoing operations against terrorists. The DG ISPR stressed that lasting peace can be established in Balochistan only with the cooperation of the people and the administration.
