The body of a minor boy named Abdullah, who went missing in a tragic accident near the Fizagat bypass on June 27, has been recovered from the Swat River.
According to Rescue 1122, the body was found in the Ghalighe area and was subsequently taken to the hospital for necessary procedures. Abdullah’s family identified the body, after which it was sent to his hometown of Daska in the Sialkot district.
Abdullah was one of 17 individuals who were accidentally swept away in the Swat River near the Fizagat bypass. Rescue officials reported that four people were rescued alive due to timely action, while the bodies of 12 others were recovered. With the recovery of Abdullah’s body, the death toll has now risen to 13.
Abdullah belonged to Daska, Sialkot, and his body has been sent to his native area.
