SHARJAH: Afghanistan outclassed Pakistan by 18 runs in the fourth match of the tri-nation T20I series on Tuesday.
Batting first after winning the toss, Afghanistan posted 169/5 in 20 overs. Sediqullah Atal (64) and Ibrahim Zadran (65) starred with a 113-run second-wicket partnership. Faheem Ashraf impressed with the ball, taking 4/27 to restrict Afghanistan from crossing 200.
Chasing 170, Pakistan struggled against disciplined bowling and were bowled out for 151. Haris Rauf top-scored with 34 runs, while Fakhar Zaman made 25. None of the other batters could convert starts into a big score.
This was the second encounter between the two sides in the series, with Pakistan winning the previous match.
