SHARJAH: Pakistan set a 208-run target for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the second match of the T20I Tri-Series 2025 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
After winning the toss, Pakistan chose to bat first. The Green Shirts started aggressively, with Saim Ayub leading the charge by smashing 69 runs off 38 balls, providing a solid opening. However, his innings was cut short, and he was dismissed before being able to convert it into a bigger score.
Skipper Salman Ali Agha failed to make an impact, departing after just 5 runs. Pakistan then lost its third wicket at 74 and the fourth at 104, leaving the side under pressure.
For this match, Pakistan made two changes from their previous lineup, resting Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi. Hasan Ali and Salman Mirza were brought into the playing XI.
