Teenage boy shot dead in Shangla

SHANGLA: A sixteen-year-old boy was shot dead in Maira area of Bisham tehsil on Monday night, police say, the motive behind the youth murder could not be immediately ascertained.
According to the first information report, (FIR) lodged at the police station, Dandai, by the slain boy’s father Taj-ul-Aman,
“I was inside my home when Sajid Khan, our neighbour, knocked our house’s door and called on my son Javid Ali to come outside as Javid Ali left I heard some noise and rushed outside, seeing Sajid Khan is waving pistol at my son and threatening him,” Taj-ul-Aman stated in the FIR.
FIR said when alleged accused saw the slain boy’s father and his uncle, he opened fire at Javid Ali, injuring him critically.
FIR noted that the alleged accused fled the scene after committing the crime, however, the injured boy succumbed to his injuries when his family was preparing to take him to the hospital.
Police said they have lodged an FIR under section 302 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and began further interrogation into the case.
