Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam paid tribute to Assistant Commissioner Bajaur Faisal Ismail, who was martyred in a bomb blast. He laid a floral wreath on the grave of the martyred officer on behalf of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
During his visit, Engineer Amir Muqam expressed his views, stating, “We will end terrorism with the spirit of Bunyan Marsoos.” He visited the grave of Shaheed Faisal Ismail from Odigram Swat, who lost his life in the Bajaur blast and recited Fateha in his honour.
The Federal Minister praised the martyr’s great sacrifice and emphasised the importance of remembering those who have given their lives for the nation. A well-dressed police contingent presented a guard of honour to the national hero during the ceremony.
Amir Muqam extended his heartfelt condolences to the martyr’s family and commended the bravery and sense of duty exhibited by Shaheed Faisal Ismail. He remarked, “Martyr Faisal Ismail sacrificed his life for the nation. The nation salutes his courage, determination, and spirit. We stand with the families and assure them that the government will not let the sacrifices of the martyrs go in vain. The names and traces of terrorists are being erased. We will eradicate terrorism with the spirit of the established order.”
The Federal Minister reiterated the commitment to continue the fight against terrorism and ensure the protection of the lives and property of the people. He acknowledged the vital role of civil officers and law enforcement agencies in maintaining regional peace and order. Local authorities, administration, and senior police officers were present at the occasion.
