LAKKI MARWAT: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police repelled another terrorist attack on the Dadiwala police station of Lakki Marwat on Friday night. This marks the fourth failed assault on police stations in the district in less than two weeks.
According to officials, terrorists launched the attack, but police responded swiftly, forcing them to flee. Both sides exchanged heavy and automatic gunfire for several hours.
Authorities closed the Indus Highway during the attack to ensure public safety.
This police station was also targeted earlier this month.
On March 14-15 night, two Dadiwala and Pezo police stations came under attack overnight by terrorists but they were repelled and no casualties were reported, officials said on Saturday.
Shaheed Haibat Ali Khan police station was also attacked on the night of March 21-22 (last Friday night). However, security forces successfully defended it once again.

A day earlier, Lakki Marwat Police Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) had foiled a major terror plot and defused a 43 kg ID bomb planted by miscreants on the main road of Haji Gul Wanda Khan on the Lakki- Manjiwala Link Road.
