PESHAWAR: Terrorist activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have gained momentum in 2025 as 48 police personnel have been martyred and 59 others injured in 156 terrorist attacks across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The series of attacks on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police could not stop in the last five months of this year, the number of attacks on police in different districts of the province reached 156, in which 48 police officers were martyred and 59 were injured. According to the CTD report in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this year, terrorist activities increased against police, while if one counts the last two months, a total of 82 attacks were carried out on police. The CTD report has recorded attacks on police personnel and police patrol parties at the top, with 26 incidents of police target killing and 18 on patrol parties. The total number of attacks in these five months has been 34 on police patrol parties, 56 on police 30 on police posts, 14 on police stations and 22 on police vehicles, making the total number 156.
