BANNU: The timely action of Police has forced terrorists to flee in the darkness of the night after being identified with modern thermal cameras in Bakakhail area of district Bannu in midnight early Monday.
Last night, a major terrorist attempt was foiled within the limits of Bakakhel police station due to modern weapons and timely response of the police. With the help of thermal cameras, the suspicious movements of 20 to 25 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij were monitored at night itself. The police personnel immediately realised the situation and responded effectively with high strategy.
The personnel deployed at Bakakhel police station were not only alert but also fully prepared to deal with the terrorists. As soon as the information about the movement of the terrorists was received, the personnel attacked with heavy weapons without wasting time, as a result of which the terrorists were panicked and forced to flee taking advantage of the darkness of the night.
This operation is proof that Bannu Police is not only equipped with modern weapons but is also performing its duties with professionalism, courage and responsibility in the field. By the grace of Allah Almighty, no loss of life was caused in the incident.
