A tragic road traffic accident claimed the lives of three individuals and left one seriously injured on Tuesday in the Babuzai area of Gogdara, Swat district.
According to Rescue 1122 Swat, the incident occurred when a motor car traveling from Buner to Swat veered off course while attempting to rescue a girl on the road. The vehicle hit a dive, resulting in a fatal crash.
The deceased were identified as Liaquat-ur-Rehman, Yasir Khan, and Fida Muhammad, all residents of Buner district. Another passenger, Khalilzada, sustained serious injuries and was immediately provided medical assistance at the scene.
Following the accident, Rescue 1122’s medical team and ambulance promptly arrived, administered first aid to the injured, and transported the bodies to Saidu Sharif Central Hospital.
The swift response of Rescue 1122 was acknowledged by local residents, although the tragic nature of the incident has cast a pall over the community.
Further investigation into the circumstances of the accident is underway.
