BANNU: At least three terrorists were killed and one police personnel sustained injuries when militants opened gun fire in the Norar area on Thursday.
Police said that the incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Mirian Police Station, where terrorists had taken shelter in a girls’ school. Police chased the attacker, and they exchanged heavy fire with them. As a result, three terrorists were killed and one policeman was injured.
The injured policeman was immediately shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Bannu, where he doctors declared him stable. Police high-ups visited the site and directed the investigation. Police officer also directed best medical treatment for the injured person.
