“TikTok over governance”: ANP’s Samar Bilour lashes out at KP CM Gandapur

PESHAWAR:Awami National Party (ANP) leader Samar Bilour has launched a scathing critique against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government during an interview on Pakhtun Digital Podcast. She accused KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur of neglecting his duties, claiming he prioritizes social media over governance.

Bilour mocked Gandapur’s absence from key political engagements, including a dinner hosted by a senior military official, and alleged he spends more time making TikTok videos than addressing public issues. She also criticized PTI’s Barrister Saif for conducting party meetings from Adiala Jail while Gandapur remains inactive in efforts to secure Imran Khan’s release.

The ANP leader condemned PTI’s alleged double standards, referencing a letter the party wrote to the IMF that she claimed exposed its contradictory policies. She lamented KP’s developmental stagnation under PTI’s 12-year rule, citing the incomplete Arbab Niaz Stadium as a symbol of failure. Bilour urged the KP leadership to prioritize public welfare over partisan politics.
