TikToker Sana Yousuf murder case: Omar Hayat remanded for 4 days

The main accused in the murder case of TikToker Sana Yousuf, Omar Hayat, was produced in the District and Sessions Court Islamabad, where the court handed him over to the police on a four-day physical remand.
The police presented the accused in the court of Area Magistrate Muhammad Hafeez and requested a seven-day physical remand. The prosecution took the position that the identification parade of the accused had been completed, in which the mother and aunt of the victim identified the accused.
The prosecution said that the recovery of the mobile phone used by the accused and the vehicle used in the incident is necessary for the investigation, for which physical remand is required.
While giving a statement in the court, the accused Omar Hayat said that he has already handed over his mobile phone to the police. He requested the court to get him medically examined, on which the court immediately ordered a medical check-up.
Omar Hayat added that he has not been able to contact his family yet, due to which he is having difficulty deciding whether to appoint a lawyer or not.
After hearing the arguments of all the parties, the court granted a four-day physical remand instead of seven days and handed over the accused to the police.

It should be remembered that the murder case of TikToker Sana Yousaf has caused great concern and anger on social media and in public circles, and the family of the victim is demanding immediate justice.
