The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education department will award Stori Da Pakhtunkhwa scholarships to a total 373 students this year.
A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi regarding the Satori-e-Pakhtunkhwa Scholarships, which was attended by officials of the Higher Education Department.
In the meeting, the Minister was given a detailed briefing on the scholarship program. It was informed in the briefing that this year, 373 students will be awarded the Satori-e-Pakhtunkhwa Scholarship, on which a total amount of Rs 134.280 million will be spent.
On this occasion, Meena Khan Afridi said that this scholarship program not only reduces the educational expenses of students but is also an important means of providing opportunities for youth to pursue higher education and develop in the future.
He directed that necessary reforms be made in the program so that it can be made more transparent, effective and in line with modern requirements.
The Minister for Higher Education said that the provincial government is committed to providing maximum educational opportunities to talented students so that these youth can play a positive role in the development and progress of the province and the country.
The program was launched for the first time by the former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, which was aimed to empower the talented students to manage up their education expenses.
