BANNU: Unidentified miscreants set shop on fire in the main bazaar of Bannu late at night on Thursday around 2am.
The shop was owned by Nasir Bangash, who is an active member of Aman Pasoon and has a strong voice against terrorism in the district.
A day earlier, unknown miscreants had looted his warehouse. Traders believe Nasir is being targeted for raising his voice for peace.
The business community reacted strongly. They shut down their shops and launched a protest. They accused the police of failing to maintain law and order.
A business leader stated that both shops suffered losses worth lakhs of rupees.
Despite the threats, traders vowed to continue their fight for peace.
