PESHAWAR: A transgender seriously injured when armed persons opened fire on her in Ghanta Gar area of Peshawar on Thursday.
Kotwali police station said that the incident occurred when accused persons Amir Khan, Farid Khan, residents of Wazir Bagh, opened fire for unknown reasons in the Ghanta Ghar area of Kotwali police station and injured Khwaja Sara Shahzad alias Barfi.
Soon after the incident Police reached the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital. A case has been registered against the accused on the complaint of Khwaja Sara Shahzad alias Barfi, and a search operation is underway to arrest the accused.
