Trump to accept $400m luxury Jet gift from Qatar royals

Trump lauds Pakistan for arresting Kabul airport bombing mastermind

US President Donald Trump is reportedly set to receive a $400 million luxury jet from Qatar’s royal family, which he plans to use as the new Air Force One. The gift, described as one of the most expensive ever offered to a sitting US president by a foreign government, is expected to be finalized during Trump’s upcoming visit to Qatar next week, according to media sources.

The White House confirmed the acceptance of the gift, with Press Secretary Caroline Levitt stating, “All gifts from foreign governments are handled in strict compliance with US laws and regulations.” Analysts suggest the move could significantly boost diplomatic ties between the US and Qatar, elevating Doha’s global influence amid ongoing geopolitical shifts in the Middle East.

Critics, however, have raised questions about potential ethical concerns, given the unprecedented value of the gift and its timing amid Qatar’s efforts to strengthen alliances with Western powers.
