U.S. President Donald Trump will hold a working lunch with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir Today on Wednesday at the White House Cabinet Room, according to an official schedule. The meeting is set for 1:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time.
The discussions will focus on bilateral issues, including regional security and counterterrorism efforts.
The meeting comes as both countries work to strengthen military and diplomatic relations.
General Munir arrived in Washington on Sunday for a five-day visit aimed at enhancing Pakistan-U.S. defense cooperation. During his stay, he is expected to meet top U.S. officials, including the Secretary of Defense and Secretary of State, as well as senior military leaders.
