US President Donald Trump has claimed that a trade deal with the UK is “completed,” while chances of an agreement with the European Union remain uncertain at 50 percent.
Speaking to reporters after arriving in Scotland, Trump stated that a potential EU deal could become the world’s largest trade agreement.
He is set to meet the European Commission President on Sunday for crucial talks.
Trump also criticized Europe’s immigration policies, warning that the continent is “heading towards destruction” due to uncontrolled migration.
He urged European nations to adopt stricter border controls, similar to those in the US, to protect their culture, security, and sovereignty. The President emphasized that the US has already removed “many bad people” from its borders through tough measures.
