Trump’s Nobel Peace Prize nomination is ultimate symbol of slavery: Barrister Saif

No more 'fantastic tea,' only bitter, unbearable tea awaits India: Saif

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser Barrister Dr. Saif strongly condemned former U.S. President Donald Trump’s nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, branding it as “the ultimate symbol of slavery.”

In a strongly worded statement, Dr. Saif urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to show the same resolve as former PM Imran Khan by saying “Absolutely Not.” He added, “It’s better to be Prisoner No. 804 than to seek power through flattery.” While criticizing Shehbaz Sharif, he warned against compromising Pakistan’s national interests for political gain.

Dr. Saif questioned the rationale behind Trump’s praise, citing his direct orders for attacks on Iran and repeated rejection of ceasefire resolutions in Gaza. “Rather than playing the role of a mediator between Iran and Israel, Trump’s decisions led to attacks on innocent civilians,” he said.

Calling the Nobel nomination “incomprehensible” and “a source of embarrassment” for its supporters, he remarked, “Even flattery should have limits.”

Concluding his remarks, Dr. Saif lauded Imran Khan’s firm stance, stating that his “Absolutely Not” policy had earned him public admiration for never compromising on the dignity and honor of the Muslim Ummah.
