Turkish FM calls Ishaq Dar, expresses full solidarity with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Turkish Foreign Minister called Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and expressed deep concern over India’s unprovoked aggression against Pakistan.

 

The Turkish Foreign Minister expressed his heartfelt regret over the martyrdom of innocent Pakistani citizens and said that Turkey is deeply concerned about this move by India and on this occasion announced full solidarity and support to Pakistan. In the telephonic conversation, the two Foreign Ministers discussed in detail the deteriorating regional security situation and agreed that close diplomatic contacts and consultations will continue in the future. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar thanked Turkey for its support and said that Pakistan desires peace in the region, however, any aggression will be responded to effectively.
