SWAT: Unidentified assailants carried out a grenade attack on the Parrai Police Checkpost in the jurisdiction of Ghaligay Police Station, Swat.
According to a police spokesperson, the attack took place late at night, injuring Constable Waris Khan and Constable Israr.
Both injured officers were immediately shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital for first aid, where their condition is reported to be stable.
Following the incident, a heavy contingent of police reached the site and launched a search operation in the area.
The police spokesperson added that security in the region has been tightened, and efforts to trace the attackers are underway.
