Including a security guard, two people were injured when the deputy commissioner of South Waziristan Upper’s vehicle came under attack in Waziristan on Wednesday.
According to sources, unknown persons attacked the vehicle of Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Upper Asmatullah Wazir and ADCF F&P near Kot Adana when they were going to Makin from Ladha.
Sourced said Muharrar ADCF F&P Ijaz and a policeman, Gul Nawaz, were injured in the firing by unknown persons and were shifted to the hospital, while the DC and ADCF F&P survived the attack. According to the police, Deputy Commissioner Asmatullah Wazir and other staff were shifted to a safe place while police and other security agencies have reached the spot.
