SHANGLA: Two young sisters drowned in the Indus River in the Bisham tehsil of Shangla on Tuesday afternoon. Search efforts for their bodies are ongoing.
According to local residents, the children had gone to the river, where they unfortunately drowned. A third boy alerted others about the incident.
Local residents, along with Rescue 1122 teams, are actively participating in the recovery efforts. The deceased children were from Butyal village in Besham.
Two boys had drowned last month in the Maira area of Bisham, and one of their bodies was recovered a few days later from the Sarkol area of Chakesar.
