UAE announces $1.4 trillion US investment during Trump visit

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has pledged a massive $1.4 trillion investment in the United States over the next decade during a meeting with US President Donald Trump in Abu Dhabi.

The investment will focus on key sectors including technology, artificial intelligence, and energy. President Trump, concluding his Gulf tour with this visit, praised the announcement, calling UAE-US relations “the best in history.”

Sheikh Mohamed emphasized that bilateral ties have strengthened under Trump’s leadership, stating the UAE remains committed to working with America for regional peace and stability. In response, Trump lauded the UAE leader as “a great warrior and visionary.”

In a special ceremony, the UAE awarded Trump its highest civilian honor – the Order of Zayed – recognizing his efforts to deepen US-UAE relations. The American president’s Gulf tour included earlier stops in Saudi Arabia and Qatar for high-level meetings with regional leaders.

The historic investment commitment marks a significant expansion of economic cooperation between the longtime allies as they seek to strengthen strategic partnerships in emerging technologies and energy sectors.
