GILGIT: Babusar Top, a popular tourist spot in Gilgit-Baltistan, has recorded unusual snowfall in the month of July, after which the temperature in the area has dropped below freezing.
This unexpected change of weather not only surprised the local people, but it became an interesting and memorable experience for the tourists as well.
According to the private news channel, after the snowfall, the view of the top of the Babusar became very interesting and presenting a unique look in the summer. A large number of tourists took full advantage of this rare opportunity. The snowy winds and beautiful landscape enhanced the natural beauty.
The district administration has issued an instruction to tourists to be careful in view of the severity of the weather and possible landslides. Heavy machinery has been deployed by the administration to maintain the flow of traffic on the roads so that any emergency can be dealt with effectively.
It is important to note that it is a unique experience for the locals as weather experts said that the climate change has brought considerable changes in the weather.
