ISLAMABAD: Following a huge price jump, Pakistan Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) has launched an upgraded version with amazing features.
The company had linked the price hike to new features. The updated model has now appeared, confirming the changes.
Dealerships shared a full list of new features. Most upgrades focus on safety and convenience.
Upgraded Features in All Variants:
- Back door emblem repositioned.
- Fasten seatbelt indicator added.
- Right front seatbelt pretensioner installed.
- Front seatbelt reminder included.
- ISOFIX lower anchor for child seats added.
- New back door garnish added.
Upgrades in VXR MT and VXR AGS Variants:
- Power window switch illumination added.
- Power windows for front and rear.
- Safety pinch guard for driver window.
- Auto up/down function for driver window.
Variant-Specific Additions:
- VXR MT now comes with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).
- AGS variant now has side turn lamps.
The Suzuki Alto recently faced criticism after a video of a damaged unit went viral. Rumors spread about a motorway ban or discontinuation. PSMC denied both claims.
In February last, the PSMC had increased the price of the Suzuki Alto by up to Rs. 120,000.

- Suzuki Alto VXR upgraded version is priced at PKR 2,827,000.
- Suzuki Alto VXR-AGS upgraded version costs PKR 2,989,000.
- Suzuki Alto VXL-AGS upgraded version price stands at PKR 3,140,000.
