LAHORE: Pakistan batter Usman Khan has been ruled out of the second ODI against New Zealand due to a hamstring injury sustained while fielding in the first match.
A Pakistan team spokesperson confirmed that an MRI scan revealed a low-grade tear, preventing Usman from playing in the second ODI in Hamilton on April 2.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that its team will not play ODIs during their tour of Pakistan.
A BCB official stated that the series, part of the Future Tours Programme (FTP), will only feature T20 matches, as the team prioritizes preparations for the T20 Asia Cup and T20 World Cup.
