KARAK: A wanted criminal was killed in an encounter with police in the jurisdiction of Karak city police station.
According to details, police received information about the presence of a wanted criminal identified as Fazal Kareem alias Kaka son of Fazal Manan, resident of Dab Sangeni area of Karak district. Police raided the hideout of the criminal, and they opened fire on the police officials.
In the exchange of fire, the wanted criminal was killed in the firing.
According to police, the deceased was wanted by police in five cases, including murder, attack on police and robbery. The police have sent the body of the criminal for a post-mortem and started further investigation of the case.
