CHARSADDA: The district administration, WAPDA, and the Police Department have finalised preparations for a joint crackdown on electricity theft in Charsadda, aiming to address the ongoing power crisis.
According to details, the operation will commence on Monday, with surprise raids conducted on every feeder across the district. After sunset, authorities will take strict action against individuals involved in illegal direct connections and meter tampering, arresting offenders on the spot.
The campaign will target electricity thieves twice a week, with raids spanning two days. Exxon WAPDA official Qazi Fahim confirmed the details.
