WANA: A violent clash erupted in the Dazh Ghondai area of South Waziristan Lower after terrorists attacked Allah Noor, the brother of late Malik Aslam Noor, and his companions. The incident occurred when they were returning home from Wana Bazaar.
Sources report that terrorists set up a checkpoint and launched a sudden attack, leading to a fierce gunfight between the attackers and the family of late Malik Khadeen. Heavy firing continues in the area, with fears of casualties and injuries.
Eyewitnesses say civilians have also been wounded, causing panic among locals. Gunfire echoes across the region, alarming nearby villages.
The family of late Malik Aslam Noor has urgently called for help from the government, district administration, and Ahmadzai Wazir tribes. Meanwhile, Malik Khadeen’s son has requested medical aid for the injured and weapons support, vowing, “We will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for peace.”
Police reinforcements are on high alert and attempting to reach the scene.
